New traffic bans for heavy vehicles on the A22 Brenner motorway from Vipiteno to the Italian border on all Saturdays until the 15th of March 2025. This ban concerns in particular all the vehicles with a gross weight over 7.5 tonnes.

Construction work on the Lueg Bridge on Austria’s Brenner A13 motorway has begun. From the 1st of January 2025 the Bridge will undergo a complete reconstruction, necessary to ensure the safety of one of the main Alpine transit routes. The reconstruction work will lead to significant traffic restrictions lasting until 2030.

The Slovenian motorway company DARS has announced the closure of the H4 highway Razdrto–Vipava–Ajdovščina. This closure, which is scheduled to begin in early December 2024 and continue until 2026, will affect the highway segment from Razdrto to Vipavski Križ.
